Why we need you
We work for an audience of millions of researchers across the world and offer a portfolio of products and services covering all aspects of publishing and how it supports research careers.
You’ll be working within SN Digital to establish a more user-focused way of working, developing and aligning our experience goals with the business strategy and the delivery work of our teams.
Our aim is to show the path and remove obstacles from achieving an excellent experience for our users and customers.
Our UX team members who work on experience strategy sit within the newly formed Customer Experience Groups. These teams apply their analytical thinking, use and grow their research and design skills, to create clear and trustworthy information about the experience of our products overall for our users.
You will help us to define the experience direction that our products will work towards and how we might get there by analyzing the end-to-end experience as it really is for researchers.
You will socialisise the obstacles to achieving user goals, define key opportunities, and collaborate with other teams to define a strategy that will not only serve the needs of our users with an excellent end-to-end experience but also help to align and unite all the areas responsible for delivering it.
The type of work this team looks at is usually a service that straddles multiple domains and business areas, or a new technology that impacts the experience of multiple services.
This includes working to support the Research Solutions area of our business. This area aims to develop new products and position and develop researcher services in among the products that we already have.
We need to build an in-depth knowledge of this area to reach our ambitious goals here.

You have experience working with remote teams and you always do your best to involve stakeholders and team members from other countries in your research activities.
