Our Lisbon office is located in Portugal's cosmopolitan capital. Mostly the teams here are focused around Technology and Store of the Future.

As a Salesforce Team Lead for Private Client business unit, you'll lead a team of internals and external developers, and business analysts, overseeing the technical direction for projects.

You will work in an Agile environment, keeping the customer in your mind. You will offer alternatives and solutions in line with an overall strategy for Salesforce development at FARFETCH.

You will ensure that the system accurately meets the defined expectations of the business. As a Salesforce team lead you will help define, build and shape the delivery of the practice.

You will take ownership of people management, development and standards related to delivery excellence and practice competence.


  • Lead a team of internal and external developers and business analysts and provide understanding of the technical direction for projects;
  • Review requirements and help translate them into features / user stories;
  • Communicate and document technical solutions and design trade-offs effectively to business stakeholders;
  • Work with project manager and product manager to scope work and estimates deliverables and timelines;
  • Work with customers to review requirements, manage project delivery and obtain deliverable feedback;
  • Participate in technical design for solutions delivered on the Salesforce platform, working with architects, developers, and business / product managers as appropriate;
  • End to end implementation with the SFDC platform;
  • Establish the system landscape, identify gaps between current and desired end-states and provide solutions;
  • Determine and follow up individual development plans with the co-workers;
  • Empower and motivate the Team;
  • Participate and challenge the team for a continuous improvement culture;
  • Guarantee the communication inside the team and with all the other departments;
  • Take a leadership role in helping advance and support our Salesforce Practices;
  • Contribute to the hiring and development plan of your team.

  • 3+ years' experience as a Salesforce Consultant, Senior Developer, Tech Lead or similar;
  • Experienced in one or more of the following : Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud;
  • Certified as Salesforce Developer, Consultant and / or Architect - a plus;
  • Experienced working in an Agile environment;
  • Able to translate complex technological concepts to team members, product team and business stakeholders;
  • Maintain a positive, supportive and appreciative attitude;
  • Create an open environment that encourages people to work together and improve our practices;
  • Interest in personal learning and development;
  • Combination of business analysis and technology implementation experience.
