Verisure (in Portugal known as Securitas Direct) is seeking a talented, innovative, hands-on and passionate Group Junior Accountant to join our Group Accounting Team , with colleagues in Sweden, Geneva, Madrid and Lisbon.
The role will report to the Group Accounting Manager and will be based in Lisbon .

Responsibilities will include, among others :
Support P2P process : receiving and processing invoices, assure communication to and from all
Point of Contact for internal and external stakeholders
Support reviewing and assuring proper classification of cost center and accounts on POs
Assist manager and peers on the daily activity
Performing ad hoc Accounts Payable and Procurement duties as required
Collaboration with local finance specialists to accounting, tax, annual reports etc. to ensure adherence to local legislation
As a result, we are looking for a self-starter and high potential / top performer individual who will combine Leadership and Accounting knowledge with a proactive business mindset focused on driving value to the business.
High education degree in Finance / Economics / Accounting / Business with deep understanding of Accounting and financial concepts (qualified accountant ideal)
Strong interest for Accounting & IFRS
Experienced professional with circa 3yrs track-record within Accounting in an international environment
Fluent in written and spoken English. Knowledge of French, Swedish, or Portuguese is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced international environment
Highly motivated and skillful at prioritizing requests
Methodical and high attention to detail
Enjoys working with a variety of IT systems
Organized and with an appetite for improving existing processes
An enthusiastic and high energy individual with a strong drive to create a positive work environment
Excellent written and oral presentation and communication skills
