Within RISK Region, in a challenging context of Arval's energy transition and growth, you will be the second line of defence for the Asset Valuation risks and models.
For the Region under responsibility, the challenge is to anticipate and prevent risks to protect Arval in the event of changing environments as the new car market situation, emerging energies (Electric, hybrid), adaptation of the companys needs (home office, car sharing.
and so anticipate impact on the used car market.
You will be in charge of a part of the Regional Asset Risk team for the Nordics, Asia, Latin America, Morocco& Portugal regions.
As Regional Asset Risk, your missions will be :
Responsible of a country portfolio in terms of asset that implies : Elaboration of Asset Risk Policies at local level Participation to dedicated committees : Residual Value (RV) and Service, Maintenance and Repair (SMR) with Local General Managers
Perform controls of the first line of Defense and raise alert when needed
Responsible of the Regional Asset Risk Monitoring (Fleet Monitoring) and managing of the alerts
Responsible of a country portfolio in terms of models that implies the performance of Independent Reviews for the portfolio under responsibility for the following model types : Expected Market Value that is the strategic model for Arval Expert RV and Expert SMR that are the direct application of the asset particularities (Value, implementation, Backtesting) Production requests as for non standard assets, commitment deals Contribute to the Independent Review of Corporate Asset Risk for statistical models developed by Corporate Asset Valuation
Participate actively to the Asset Risk Community composed of all the Local / Regional Asset Risk and Corporate Asset Risk.
Lead or contribute to transversal Asset Risk Project (Used Car Market Outlook)

Reporting directly to the Head of the Regional Asset Risk of Nordics / Asia / Latin America / Portugal / Morocco, you will be part of the team (3 FTE).

Through this position, you will be able to manage risks at a cross-company level while being close to the business. You bring added value to the business through your analyses, advice and recommendations.
You will discover the Long-Term Leasing business line, Automotive markets, RISK environment and the second line of defense for models in BNPP.
It makes it possible to develop along several axes :
Experience in a control function with acquisition of risk analysis and measurement methodologies, BNPP standards
Knowledge of market and model risk control devices
Analytical skills and economic analysis
Expertise on risk management by setting alert thresholds, concentration monitoring
Relational dimension and ability to convince and argue
