Global Markets is BNP Paribas’ capital markets business within Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB), delivering solutions across asset classes, and industry-leading services for clients including Institutional, corporate, private banks and retail distribution networks.
Our Portugal Platform (Lisbon and Porto) is a major HUB in Europe and certainly unique in the country by its size and its scope of activity, with all Front Office roles present (Trading, Sales, Research, Structuring, Quant & Engineering, Business Dev and Support, Marketing & Client Support, Risk Management, Data Analytics and Machine Learning ).

Your Main Activities Are
Participate to the definition of the strategic vision of the Global Markets Content digital stream
Contribute to the delivery of new features / enhancements for the various products / digital assets in portfolio (Web Portal / Mobile APP / BoTs / Automated emails / AI modules )
Interact closely with the Sales / Front Office teams globally to capture client and business’ needs and structure them for roadmap planning and prioritisation with the Tech team
Contribute to translating business needs into product requirements with appropriate user stories in Jira
Keep product documentation up-to-date
Participate to the testing of new product releases by making sure they align to original requirements and by identifying any defects before business sign-off / go live
Prepare marketing content, working closely with Marketing and Sales teams, ensuring that they are easily accessible by Sales and / or clients and kept up-to-date across our channels
Host sessions to demo latest features and conduct training sessions
Collect user’s feedback to identify any new needs or issues to add the product backlog
Analyse product usage data, develop metrics and build dashboards to inform decisions on product development and go-to market strategy
Work with the Marketing and eSales teams to design automated email marketing campaigns to increase usage
Prepare presentations and communicate progress in a clear, regular and structured manner
Think proactively, identify new opportunities and optimise existing solutions.
Profile and Skills to Success
Master’s Degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science or similar field
Ideally 2 years experience in a similar role in consulting, startup or corporate environment, preferably within the financial industry
Expert MS office proficiency
Preferably knowledge of a BI / Analytics tool to measure KPIs and activity (e.g. Tableau or similar)
Experience with Agile practices, Confluence, JIRA is desired
Preferably basic knowledge of coding principles (e.g. Python)
Interested in financial markets and technology, continually learning and staying abreast of new developments
Fluency in English both oral and written (mandatory)
Good awareness of risk and fundamental risk concepts, always considering risk through daily activities and abiding by corporate procedures
Corporate role model with discipline and high ethical standards, supporting and fostering a culture of good Conduct and positive work environment
Ability to deliver business results on time, track performance and demonstrate continuous improvement while working with global cross-functional teams

Analytical mind-set with a keen interest in statistical analysis, data mining & data visualisation
About the Team
The purpose of the role is to work within an established Product team to help define, deliver and manage existing and new digital channels for the distribution of Global Markets content, including Markets Strategy & Economics notes and Sales & Trading desk commentary and views.
It also involves supporting other key digital and innovation initiatives by being a driving force of our Digital Transformation in general
