FCCN is a unit of FCT I.P. responsible for the management and operation of the Portuguese RCTS - NREN (National Research and Education Network).
In the context of immediate integration into RCTS CERT and operationalization of a SOC (Security Operations Center) we are looking for a Security Analyst.
The candidate will join the existing Security Incident Response team, having as main functions and responsibilities :
Screening, analysis and handling of security incidents, with all parties involved;
Monitoring, screening and analysis of potential security vulnerabilities;
Conducting security audits, websites and services made available in the context of the RCTS;
Continuous situational monitoring of RCTS cybersecurity using the team's video wall;
Production of computer security alerts and recommendations;
Designing solutions for integrating monitoring applications and improving the effectiveness of the proactive handling of security incidents.
Higher Education in Computer Engineering or similar;
Good command of Portuguese and English (oral and written);
Strong ethical sense and predisposition to collaborative team work;
Programming / Scripting in various languages;
Experience in Malware Analysis;
Availability to travel in the country and abroad (participation in international work groups);
Residence in Portugal.
Nice to have
Certifications in the security area;
Ability to interpret server logs, firewalls, IDS and network traffic information;
Forensic analysis skills;
Experience with malware analysis tools;
Experience in administration of Internet services - WEB, DNS, SMTP;
Communication skills and presentation in public;
Knowledge of virtualization systems.
