The Procurement Sourcing and Contracts Manager will report directly to the Source to Pay (S2P) Lead and will oversee the sourcing and contracts teams ensuring they work in accordance with the group's performance and quality standards.
Guarantee the team sets-up and runs Strategic Sourcing Events, including population of event details, ensuring compliance by participants and evaluation of submissions.
Coordinate strategic sourcing initiatives, market research analysis, contracting strategies, vendor management and deliver on annual savings targets.
Ensure the team engages with the business to understand the scale of events required (i.e., price quote through to major RFP).
This includes conducting external market research and provide reports to the business.
Provide strategic sourcing strategies to negotiate terms with suppliers such as price, quality of goods / services, deadlines, expectations, etc.
Promote tactical and collaborative sourcing where (and if) this can be self-managed by the business; by providing guidance on multiple preferred supplier options, assisting with benefits estimates for iterative sourcing opportunities to generate further savings.
Ensure the contracts team evaluates and monitors contractor performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations.
Support tracking and monitoring compliance for regulatory and both internal / external audit requirements.
Responsible for ensuring adherence to policies & controls, aligned to the compliance framework, for all countries & business lines in scope.
Maintain standards, processes, systems, and align to ways of working - this includes refining existing working practices and reviewing fit to customer needs - to ensure compliance feedback / escalation of business non-compliance.
Support the S2P governance model and develop standard operating procedures for sourcing and contracts administration.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with agreed Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Oversee the development and management of reports and key data metrics to support service performance management.
Contribute to regular team meetings, 1-1's and performance reviews ensuring that own skills are aligned to team, department and company's requirements.
Develop professional skills and proactively gathering knowledge and best practice through practical experience and related project work.
Degree level education in Supply Chain Management / Business Administration or equivalent.
5+ Years of experience in sourcing and managing activities of varying size and demand.
Excellent negotiation skills and a track record in closing large deals.
Proven experience in sourcing and managing vendors of varying size and demand.
Detailed experience of contracts, management of a varied contract portfolio, clause library and templates.
Strong project management skills.
Detail-orientated and with excellent data analysis skills, capable of both identifying and quantifying cost savings.
Full proficiency with Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
Ability to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
Be trustworthy and self-motivated.
A good team worker with the ability to work effectively with staff at different levels of an organisation.
Fluent English speaker.
