Join Us. Shape your career with us. We’re looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our Global Business IT team. The team is responsible for maintaining office IT infrastructure as well as developing and administering internal systems.
The team supports OLX globally with remote and on-site support as well as provides workplace IT to all users.- You are excited about building a scalable platform that leverages management tools such as DesktopCentral, (Azure) ActiveDirectory, Intune, and other tools to design, implement, and support the endpoint infrastructure.
You will develop mixed environment solutions for software distribution, deployment, and endpoint management. - You’ll work alongside our IT Operations team, Service, Infrastructure, Networking, and Information Security teams to keep our employees operating in an efficient and safe environment.
You love to solve problems at scale and have experience in creating a robust mixed environment (Windows, Mac) with a seamless experience for our end users and support teams.
You are passionate about providing the best customer service experience possible. We are looking for someone that is highly adept at managing both Macs and Windows endpoints on a global level, improving the end-user experience, and refining processes through automation.
What you will be doing :
Run and maintain our management tools Office 365, Azure AD, Intune / Endpoint manager, JAMF, DesktopCentral, ActiveDirectory, and G-Suite MDM
Design, build, document, and support ongoing automation in endpoint deployments and management
Manage, administer, and scale our endpoint fleet and related infrastructure
Define and manage a full cycle patch and software distribution framework
Evaluate, develop and optimize pre & post patching process including thorough testing to ensure proper implementation of OS patches and other software updates
Manage and maintain client configuration and security compliance standards across all endpoints
Advanced troubleshooting of Windows and MacOS
Identify and deploy internal process and automation improvements
Work as an escalation point for the global IT Operations team
Create and maintain detailed and accurate documentation
Assist with new and ongoing projects, identify deliverables, and monitoring progress
Help to grow and mentor the global IT team.
Who we’re looking for :
Highly analytical, self-motivated, and you’ll bring loads of curiosity and a hunger to learn
You have a strong track record of managing both Mac and Windows endpoints on a global scale.
You have experience with the use of tools such as Office 365, Azure AD, Intune / Endpoint manager, Desktop central, JAMF, Okta, and G-Suite MDM
You can identify ways to improve efficiency and scale services by leveraging automation tools.
You have a strong background in Windows & Mac administration and are comfortable with the administration of Office 365, Azure AD, Endpoint manager, and JAMF
You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
You are a great teammate who is hardworking, learns quickly, and thrives in a collaborative, agile environment.
5-8 years in an IT Engineering or IT Support role in an enterprise environment
4+ years of experience working with endpoint management tools (Jamf Pro, DesktopCentral, Microsoft Intune)
2+ years experience in Windows administration (AD, WSUS, GPO management)
Expert level MDM knowledge; software distribution, monitoring, and maintenance
Comfortable with scripting and writing code in Bash / Powershell
Networking fundamentals and support (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP )
