Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation :
The Project Manager position is a part of the Global Team of GBS Strategy & Projects based in Porto in the management of overall GBS transformation (for Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia Pacific, Emerging Markets and CIS), ensuring the implementation of the GBS 2025 Roadmap, the execution of projects in GBS, and support other teams with project management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities and General Accountabilities :
Project management (in a GBS environment nice to have) in Waterfall and Agile framework, ensuring : 1) full understanding of project scope to be able to design detailed project plans when necessary 2) Manage the execution and completion of the defined project plan through effectively coordinating people and resources 3) Monitor and highlight any project variables (cost, effort, scope, etc.
against the project plan and make suggestions to implement corrective or preventative actions. 4) Control the allocated project costs on time in budget.
Manage, co-ordinate and enable project stakeholder throughout the project life cycle, in-order to successfully deliver and embed the project within the organization
Interpersonal skills to liaise with GBS stakeholders (leadership, operations, process excellence, delivery excellence)
Ensure the preparation of all documentation required for projects, reporting to Board and other governance bodies
Identify solutions on escalations and propose these to project sponsor and support their resolution in a timely and appropriate manner.
Use appropriate and effective communication methods to Senior Management and project stakeholder throughout the project life cycle, in order to successfully deliver and embed the project within the organization.

Ability to interact at a high management level
Good communication (both written and verbal) and facilitation skills (small and large groups) especially when interacting with different levels of business

Presentation building skills and storytelling
Excellent analytical skills, managing data from multiple sources
P roject management
Knowledge of GBS organizations from feasibility to full implementation
Pro- active (engaging & impact-oriented) mindset, ability to think end-to-end
Fluent English (verbal and written)
Strong MS-Office skills (namely Excel, PowerPoint)
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications :
Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive work experience in mid to large scale project or program management
Storytelling / presentation building
