Specifically, you will be responsible for coordinating local brokerage and consulting services in the area of medical and other insured benefit programs , as well as supporting more senior colleagues to provide consulting services around all employee benefits to the headquarters.
You will be part of the WTW’s Global Services and Solutions (GSS) team and based in our Lisbon Service Center (LSC). The GSS team is dedicated to serving the needs of the headquarters of its multinational clients.
Operating in the global marketplace means multinational companies face a variety of different business, cultural, language and regulatory environments.
GSS colleagues get involved in four key areas as follows : multi-country coordination and project management; strategic advice around the management of employee benefits;
technical expertise on global risk management; supporting global reach. The Role
Provide data analytics, draft reports and presentations, update project trackers and work with Global Benefits Center (GBC) colleagues, as well as the local country consultants and brokers, to obtain status updates
Manage clients’ benefits data which includes working with the GBC to populate data and being responsible that data is accurate and updated on a timely basis
Facilitate and manage initial technology and implementation tasks upon project start up
Act as the day-to-day contact that can provide updates on local country activities and proactively identify and escalate issues with our clients
Coordinate and project manage multi-country projects such as : global benefits benchmarking exercises, cost savings projects and governance processes using established project management tracker and technology
Work with the global consultant lead to deliver advice to multinational clients about the financing of their risk benefit programs, such as self-insurance, multinational risk benefits pooling and employee benefit captive work- for feasibility study, negotiation, selection, implementation and ongoing support
Work with the relevant parties to ensure local broker-of-record letters (or similar) and statements of work are in place
With support from the GBC, develop global and regional financial and stewardship reports, as required
Keep abreast of changes in legislation, market practice or otherwise, to identify issues that clients be addressing

The essential experience for this role is :
Previous experience with employee benefits or insurance market
Excellent report writing and presentation skills
Well organized and attention-to-detail with ability to prioritize conflicting work schedules
Ability to analyze situations, provide recommendations and have flexible approach in order ti resolve problems
Self-motivation and the ability to work effectively in teams, including remotely with the colleagues in other countries
Enjoys delivering complex solutions to internal and external clients, while delivering proactively on time and on budget
Knowledge of Excel to manipulate and analize data, as well as PowerPoint
Proficency in English (written and spoken). Other languages (specially French and German) are a bonus
