What will you do?
Contribute to the development and maintenance of Android applications and services related to : point of sale, payment processing, performance monitoring, consumer analytics, and test automation
Financial Payment Knowledge EMV, Security and processor knowledge would be advantageous
Execute rapid prototyping to facilitate proof of concept and demonstrations for complex requirements and features
An incumbent has a track record of working well under limited supervision, with ability to produce results quickly and deeply.
Thrive working closely with other like-minded developers around the world to deliver global solutions
An incumbent will have experience in working with external developers and handling support processes using Atlassian tools - JIRA and confluence
An incumbent participate in standups, retrospectives and reviews to drive findings and key takeaways toward our continuous process improvements.
What do you need to be successful
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, preferably in SW Engineering or Computer Science.
4+ years of experience in software development.
Android software development in languages including Java
Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android
Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
Experience in React Native
Good working knowledge of Gradle build scripts.
Exposure to Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Good working knowledge of version controls systems (Git).
Exposure with Atlassian development tools, including Jira and Confluence.
Experience with continuous integration systems e.g. Jenkins and Artifactory.
Payment solutions or other related experience, e.g., security, is desirable.
Experience in payment solutions is desirable
