We’re seeking an enthusiastic, focused, and experienced Product Manager-Mobile possessing proven business acumen and technical / technology expertise to join our growing Product team, based in our Coimbra or Porto, Portugal office / remote.
You will be working on programs and initiatives for global restaurant brands in the quick service and casual dining space.
Down in the weeds
Actively engage with business users and key stakeholders, external and internal, representing the Tillster business, operations, and technology to drive business requirements definition
Externally, represent Tillster and its business, products and services offering, and internally, be a balanced advocate of the business needs of clients and key stakeholders
Hands-on experience in : Requirements gathering, gap analysis, writing business and technical specificationsAssessing and managing scope of work, decomposing high level business requirements and developing lower level stores / tasksTesting and monitoring for client / stakeholder / user satisfaction and resolve issues related to an applicationUnderstanding and developing business process workflows and how they are supported through existing productsAccurately analyzing critical details of business issues and opportunities to understand and define impact and workarounds, and evaluate alternative business solutions
Coordinate across various cross-functional teams and stakeholders, for the identification and prioritization of needs, and articulate business impact and workarounds
Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders and business users
Lead business users and stakeholders in a forum where product enhancements are reviewed and rated based on a priority assessment, in preparation for release planning and development
Create user training and on-going support documentation, and facilitates training sessions
Work both independently and in a team setting while delivering high quality work in a consistent manner in an Agile / Scrum environment
Required Skills & Experience
4+ years’ experience : As a product manager / product owner in a fast-paced technology environmentAnalyzing, clarifying and translating business / functional requirementsDocumenting current and future state business process flowsIn technical troubleshooting and problem solvingCoordinating / managing enterprise scale SaaS based software solutionsManaging scope of work, and change management efforts
Knowledgeable, and hands-on expertise in : Business process and data analysis, functional design, modeling, product development processes, and software testingShipping products from start to finish, concept to launchBuilding a "practice" or culture of product management (not just "ship a product" but "ship the right product")eCommerce - transactional systems experience either building apps that plug into one (integration) or the ecommerce / transactional platform itselfTechnical enough to win the respect of the developers and not get snowed, or make me repeat myself a hundred timesDeveloping and managing product roadmaps - if they don't tell you any prioritization strategies, that's a red flagWriting and publishing release notes and product feature docs - not as trivial as it seemsMobile App experience a total bonus launching in the App Stores
Customer focused with high quality standards
Strong preference for candidates with experience working directly with or in a consultative role with a SaaS based, e-commerce organization
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of work
