JOB OVERVIEW
Manage Safety staff responsible for a specific unit and processing in alignment with departmental and corporate standards.
Contribute to Global initiatives. Work in close collaboration with SM and other relevant stakeholders supporting the achievement of local and global deliverables and metrics.
Responsibilities
Approve actions on human resources matters.
Assists with staff training professional and career development.
Monitor, assess and report utilization of staff. Identify and implement solutions for poor utilization of staff, ensuring global consistency.
Instruct and lead direct reports in efficient management of project budgets through effective timesheet reporting. Work closely with operations specialist managers.
Assist with meeting department utilization and realization targets.
Experience
Typically requires a minimum of 3 - 5 years of prior relevant experience.
Knowledge
Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing , coaching and process execution.
Education
Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field and up to 7 years of relevant experience, inclusive of up to 4 years of PV experience and up to 3 years of Line management experience.
OR equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
