RISK is the second line of defense over risk management activities of the Group
The Strategic Analysis & Reporting (SAR) team is part of RISK. Its mission consists in providing the Senior Management of the Bank and the Regulators / Supervisors with information on the risk profile of the Bank : Credit risk, Counterparty risk, Market risk and Operational risk.
Its organization is worldwide, located in Paris, Brussels, UK, New York, Hong Kong and Lisbon.
Credit & Counterparty Risk Reporting (C2R2) in Lisbon is in charge of serving internal and external stakeholders with an enhanced offer of value added risk analysis, meant to be used for decision-making and for regulatory purposes.
C2R2 provides analysis on the credit and counterparty risk, to serve internal clients (Group Board, RISK Senior Management, Group Finance,) and external clients (Supervisors : ECB, EBA and Rating agencies).
The scope is transversal, covering the entire Group BNP Paribas portfolio (corporate, financial institutions, sovereign, retail).
The C2R2 Lisbon team is composed of 4 sub teams, coordinated by Team Leaders :

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Head of C2R2 Lisbon is hierarchically attached to the Head of RISK SAR Lisbon. She / he works in closed collaboration with the Head Office of the SAR department in Paris.
Directly oversee the C2R2 Lisbon team
Be the representative of the team, both locally and globally
Meet the objectives set by the SAR Head Office & local management
Develop the offer of analysis and dashboards on credit risk
Develop the expertise of the team on the risk profile analysis
Drive a focus on timeliness of delivery, quality of analysis with a constructive and proactive engagement
Manage a team of 15 people
Share and coordinate the roadmap with her / his Team Leaders
Ensure the mandatory training completion with the contribution of HR
Recruit and lead cross-functional teams to meet business goals.
Evaluate the performance of team members and determine training needs.
Ensure that team maintains high level of competence and operational excellence.
Monitor and control expenses and budget
Oversee the sound execution of the SLAs between the Lisbon platform and the clients
Develop process improvements to achieve cost effectiveness and time saving.
Stimulate teams cooperation and transversal opportunities (e.g. mobility) within the RISK community
Ensure a strong cooperation with other locations like Paris, Brussels, New York, Hong Kong
Develop and implement related controls and procedures in conjunction with RISK Streams as required
The main responsibilities of the team are :
Analyse the credit portfolio of the Bank
Analyse and explain key metrics, trends, axes of analysis
Analyse the portfolio to give comprehensive view on its quality and risk profile
Explain the portfolio trends and assess regularly its risk profile jointly with RISK and business teams
Give a forward-looking view on the portfolio, considering the economic and financial environment
Adapt the analysis tools in order to better answer the clients needs in a continuous agile mode.
Present analyses to ease decision making
Select and summarize strategic information for the management
Present conclusions during committees and forums
Anticipate the portfolio evolutions in coordination with RISK and Business streams
Interact closely with RISK streams and Businesses on portfolios evolutions
Follow up the portfolio in a proactive and regular mode
Contribute to the ad-hoc and crisis requests from the Management, the Regulators and rating agencies
Support C2R2 Paris team in their processes by sharing consistent analyses, contribute to ad hoc requests and collaborate during clients needs definition.
Realize the basics day to day permanent control of the analysis activities
Business school or Engineering School (Master level)
Solid experience of 10 years on the credit portfolio / credit risk within the Bank industry
Expertise on credit risk, credit products
Leadership to manage the team
Good communication skills to present the analysis to the Top Management
High analytical skills to understand and explain complex situation
Capacity to organize and to deliver under short timeline
Capacity to work with diversified stakeholders (Data Analyst, Risk Officer, Banker)
Fluent in English
availability to work in Lisbon
availability for some travels to France, Brussels
