As Head of People & Culture you will be responsible for helping to find, develop, motivate and retain our Indie Campers team (Portugal and abroad).
You will act as an ambassador for the company culture and will support team leaders, allowing the company to develop and grow in a fast-paced environment.
In this role you will be responsible for all human resources related activities, such as :
Main responsibilities :
Collaborate with management team to craft the company’s vision and mission;
Develop strategic HR plans and policies (recruitment, training, compensation & benefits, employee experience, performance management, workforce planning, career management, Payroll & Legal, etc.);
Assume responsibility of labor and employee relations ;
Re-engineer processes to ensure maximum efficiency;
Ensure all procedures comply with legal regulations and best practices;
Understand our company goals and align our people practices with our business objectives;
Prepare reports for the CEO using business metrics and KPIs;
Proactively and empathetically address workplace and personnel issues - including resolving difficult interpersonal and employee’s retention issues;
Be excited about building and growing the people & culture team - you should not only be skilled at designing large-scale strategic initiatives, but also at getting your hands on the job.
Hard Skills :
BA / BS / Masters in Business, Human Resources, Communication, Economics, Law or similar (mandatory);
Fluent in English (mandatory);
5-10 years of relevant experience in Human Resources field (mandatory);
2-5 years of relevant experience in team management (mandatory);
Experience scaling, structuring and controlling international operations in a high growth company, ideally in the auto, tourism, and / or tech sectors (plus);
Outstanding at solving complex problems that require logical reasoning and good intuition;
Self-starter with ability to take on tasks independently and great team-player;
Able to work in a highly dynamic and international environment.

Strong communication, organization and time-management habits;
Effective team player with an attention to detail and a bias for execution;
Flexible leader - you can operate at a highly strategic level, but can also perform all tactical HR - related duties for the company;
