Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization
We are currently looking for an experienced Junior SAP APO / IBP consultant for our adidas Tech HUB in Porto. As a member of our central Tech chapter Engineering SAP & Corporate - Planning you will use your experience and knowledge to build, improve and extend capabilities of our global Supply Planning solutions.
Next to this you will work in close collaboration with our planning transformation program Future Planning Solutions , as well as the challenging and fast paced SAP S / 4HANA transformation program.
In your role you will be responsible for :
Assisting in the implementation and improvement of our best-in-class solutions using most modern SAP platforms and tools : SAP APO SNP (Focus : CTM with ABP), SAP IBP, S / 4HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud
Key responsibilities include assisting in the enhancement of existing applications, deployment of custom build applications, (cloud) data integration, SQL and HANA optimization
Interacting with Demand / Supply / Fulfillment Product teams, as well as the software engineering team in Headquarter and Markets to understand, configure and deploy tools in this domain and integrate data required for planning
Assisting in the definition and management of scope, requirements definition and prioritization activities for small and medium scale changes
Assisting in the translation of specifications into detailed designs on application and database level to efficiently implement requirements
Investigating operational needs, problems and opportunities in collaboration with operations support team, to continuously improve automated and non-automated components of tools or processes
Assisting in the definition of acceptance tests for these recommendations
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Key for us are
At least 3-year experience in IT
Minimum 1 year of experience in a technical consulting role in the field of supply planning
Customizing experience in at least one of the following SAP areas : SNP-CTM / DP / SAP IBP, e.g. Sales and Operation, Demand, Supply and Response, DDMRP
Understanding in one or more (cloud) data integration technologies : CIF integration, CPI-DS, BW-capabilities, SLT, SDA, SDI or RTI
Passionate and up-to-date with technology trends - especially in the SAP context
Own educated opinion on modern SAP planning platforms
Strong communication skills
Basic understanding of and experience in agile methodologies
Experience in delivering value in a remote team
Eager to learn
A plus are for us the following
SAP AFS experience or experience in CTM - attribute based planning
AWS cloud integration experience with focus on ETL, data modeling and data flows
Experience in team management
Experience in Machine Learning, Big Data technologies and Advanced Analytics
Four-year college or university degree with focus on computer science or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficient spoken and written command of English
Certification in relevant technology (e.g. SAP) and methodology (e.g. Scrum) areas is a plus
