Job Responsibilities :
Implement / Improve product cost & price calculation methodology, processes, calculation toolset for electronic product line
Preform product cost estimation in early RFQ phase and calculate product Cost & Price through lifetime of the product
Attend new product introduction meetings to understand the cost implication of engineering and / or process changes.
Track the program actual costs versus target to identify program deltas and corrective actions to bring back on track.
Track & Report project KPIs : Sales turnover, margin, profitability
Make cost and price studies based on several scenarios.
Outline, report and track all program risks & opportunities related to product cost and drive them to closure.
Support in selecting subcontractors or vendors.
Support with budgeting, forecasting process
Job Skills & Qualifications
Required
Education preference Minimum bachelor’s degree in Electronics engineering
5+ years of experience in product cost management role in consumer electronics industry or equivalent experience in electronics engineering, manufacturing & Operations Engineering
Strong knowledge in part production cycle times, labor processes, material utilization and Bill of Materials (BOM).
Good knowledge of Cost & Price Calculation tools, structure and methodologies
Familiar with product structure & reading engineering drawings and model viewing & measurements
Cross-functional working experience to drive program.
Ability to design and implement new cost reports.
Experience in Microsoft Office suite; Word, PowerPoint, advanced knowledge of Excel, macros
Adaptability to several software platforms / programs
Good level of English, written and spoken
