The tasks will be :
Leadership & Communication
Provide clear and effective leadership to the Sales team across all geographic
regions in consultation with the Senior Leadership Group (Italia, UK, Portugal and Bulgaria)
Encourage and maintain a positive and productive culture within the sales team,
consistent with company values and strategy.
Report regularly on Sales pipeline, conversion metrics and overall performance to the
Executive Board (KPIs to be agreed with EB).
Maintain effective relations with key executives across the business to ensure
procedures work effectively with other departments, and in particular with the
Marketing team, Legal team and the Operational Delivery teams with respect to
ongoing management of business development partnerships.
Team & Operations
Recruit and oversee and ensure appropriate training of all sales staff and advise the
CEO on sales and business development strategy
Develop a Sales and Business Development strategy to support the go to company’s
financial and operating objectives
Work as part of the Senior Leadership Group to determine sales best practice and
meet both the short term needs of the business. Plan and manage the team against the agreed metrics and KPIs.
Oversee the company’s day to day sales operations in its entirety.
Ensure the international Sales Team acts consistently and effectively to deliver the
agreed Strategy, managing sales managers across geographic regions
Be responsible for developing and maintaining key business development
relationships to deliver optimal value, delegating only where appropriate
Work with EB to ensure effective sales team remuneration, reward and review
structures in place.
Finance & Strategy & Legal
Ensure key business development partnerships are built, maintained and
appropriately documented to support the sales strategy in conjunction with the
Develop and manage key sales reporting and management metrics
Manage within sales team budgets as set and agreed by the Executive Board
Maintain a view on the external market and its implications for the company’s sales
performance, and advise the CEO on critical market changes and developments
Input regularly to the company strategy and financial plan based on direct experience
of the Company’s key markets
Salary around €40 - 50K / year + bonus
