Make the vision of a Siemens IT / OT ecosystem for smart campus and smart manufacturing real! Connectivity is key in IOT! For this reason, it is essential that Siemens builds and scales a consistent and secure connectivity ecosystem for building infrastructure and manufacturing at Siemens.

In this role you will drive the evolution of this ecosystem by designing new platform services for edge management, elaborate best practices for connectivity and scaling scenarios, consult best options under technical and financial considerations and shape new products and offerings of Siemens for the internal and external market as part of co-creation and customer-zero approaches.

What part will you play? Definition and support of ramp-up of a scalable IOT Landscape for edge management and connectivity for Siemens units, primarily manufacturing and building infrastructure Elaborate adaption potential of edge technologies for further domains e.

g. Mobility scenarios Working on new business models and offerings where edge and connectivity is required Elaborating architectural approaches for innovation topics e.

g. seamless edge-to-cloud journey for secure data transfers, edge-based data-lake approaches Definition of best practice approaches for rollout and scale of Siemens edge technologies Consult factories in connectivity use cases and options Facilitation of communities to demonstrate opportunities and share best practices in edge technology and connectivity Shaping of new Siemens edge & connectivity offerings in co-creation and customer-zero approaches What you need to make real what matters A University degree in IT or engineering Man years of experience in edge technologies Experience in implementation of edge-architectures and connectivity use cases and an understanding of IT & OT protocols A passion for IT / OT convergence and understand requirements and dependencies Good moderation skills, the ability to open rooms for visionary discussions, as well as to drive meetings to concrete practical and valuable outcomes You are a systemic problem solver and you are able to connect the dots You play in teams and have excellent people skills and the adaptability to connect quickly with people Proficiency in English;
