We are looking for a Cloud Operations Manager for our Feedzai Cloud organization in Product Engineering, to lead a team of experienced SRE engineers.
With Cloud at its core, Engineering is responsible for all Feedzai product development. Together with Product Management and Data Science, we are building the next generation of tools to catch fraud in real time with a machine learning first approach.

The Cloud Operations Manager requires a combination of business oriented mindset and technical knowledge. It will lead a team of SRE Engineers accountable to evaluate customer needs and technical requirements, in order to design, build, deliver, operate and optimize Feedzai's cloud solutions.
The Cloud Operations Manager will work in increasingly close cooperation with other business organizations such as Product, Engineering, Security, Customer Success amongst others.
Lead Feedzai Cloud’s Cloud Operations team
Drive Cloud Architecture & Solution Design strategy discussions to guarantee most optimal Cloud solutions for Feedzai customers
Lead on Build & Change Management best practices for Feedzai’s Cloud environments
Work closely with Engineering, Customer Success and Security organizations to deliver well-architected, cost optimized, integrated and secure Cloud solutions
Responsible for the management of tools for deployment, monitoring, operations and analytics of Cloud infrastructure & Services;
Support Feedzai’s Cloud Automation & Orchestration strategy for the deployment pipeline of Cloud Infrastructure & Native services;
Guarantee general availability and resilience of cloud environments;
Set standards for production readiness and operational efficiency. Lead on optimization activities to drive high availability and performance in Cloud of Feedzai’s solutions;
Lead Feedzai’s Cloud incident response, root cause investigation and resolution, and set guidelines and best practices on reliability, monitoring and alerting;
Take part in the definition and revision of Service Level Objectives. Lead performance test and optimization efforts to meet the performance SLAs;
Lead on the selection of best tools for the job
15 years strong technical experience in areas such as Infrastructure or Product Development;
5 years experience leading technical teams (preferably Cloud or Infrastructure teams);
3 years experience with Public Cloud (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud, Azure);
Programming competences (e.g Python or Java highly desirable)
Experience in Operational best practices in supporting production systems
Good knowledge of Linux systems;
Experience with CI / CD pipelines and models;
Knowledge of service level indicators (e.g. latency, throughput or availability);
Experience Designing Cloud Solutions or Distributed Systems
Knowledge in Containerization and operating microservices is a plus;
Certifications in Agile desirable
Certifications in Public Cloud platforms desirable (e.g AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience working on projects that move quickly that have ever-changing process and structure
Experience working in Agile driven teams
Demonstrated skills in leadership, adaptability, problem solving, communication and critical thinking
Solution oriented, and when issues arise, be able to roll up sleeves and tackle them with a get it done’ attitude. Outstanding on problem-solving and negotiation skills
Team player with a clear focus on taking the performance of teams to the next level
