Within Protect and Conduct, core responsibilities of the Central TPRM / Outsourcing (* see definitions below) team are to :

  • Contribute to the definition of CIB TPRM / Outsourcing framework to ensure that CIB meets its regulatory and internal obligations
  • Ensure in project mode the implementation of the CIB Target Operating Model (with a particular focus on EMEA in 2020 and 2021)
  • Contribute to the CIB Central TPRM / Outsourcing governance (Program and Run mode)
  • Define and ensure consistency of controls and tools deployment
  • Your Main Activities Are

    The CIB TPRM PMO will actively take part and support the CIB Central TPRM / Outsourcing on shore team in the TPRM / Outsourcing projects and sustainability for CIB CCCO organization.

    This will include (but not limited to) :

  • Central Governance and Risk Management Contribute to CIB TPRM central program governance (Global Steerco, OPCOs) : collect and consolidate TPRM KRIs in coordination with regions, prepare subsequent dashboards and meeting decks Contribute to the implementation of the EMEA Outsourcing Committees.
  • This Committee to be launched in 2021 will allow to : ensure EMEA outsourcing framework meets operational risk requirements, perform periodical risk assessment of arrangements and Provider due diligences, and provide update on the Register of outsourcing services (outsourcing arrangements register / database in ORM 360)

  • Integration of TPRM / ORM in the Operational Risk Management Framework Ensure that Third Party / Outsourcing Risk is better integrated into the overall Operational Risk Management Framework by contributing to making the link with the RCSA, with HI, with IG recommendation.
  • This will encompass defining guidelines, implementing KPIs and dashboards

  • Arrangements Database (ORM 360) Contribute to providing guidelines and support to CIB users to increase their use and understanding of ORM 360 Monitor in a dynamic mode the arrangements database through the implementation of KPIs to follow exhaustiveness and data quality of CIB arrangements Management of the audit trail repository
  • Animate the TPRM / Outsourcing community Animate the CIB outsourcing community within regions / locations Facilitate exchanges of best practices Guide the various stakeholders in the TPRM / Outsourcing lifecycle
  • Profile and Skills to Success

  • Masters degree in Banking, Finance , Project Management
  • Proficient with MS Office, especially with EXCEL mandatory; VBA , ACCESS, Tableau & Power BI skills are a plus
  • Good understanding of CIB organization is a plus
  • Previous experience in PMO role. In Risk Management / Operational Permanent Control is a plus
  • Fluency in English both verbal and written is mandatory; French is a plus
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written is key to interact with senior managers, CCCOs, OPC heads
  • Strong presentation skills (experience in coordinating, animating workshops, governances)
  • Experience in coordination / animating Workshops, Governances (setting up the agenda, communicating the agenda, preparing the materials, writing and sharing the minutes, follow-up on action plans)
  • Strong analytical skills (Capacity to synthetize and understand complex projects / processes, data crunching)
  • Highly organized and ability for multi-task
  • Team player with high ethics to support, train junior team members and take part of the CIB Protect & Conduct Lisbon BCP whenever required

    CIB PROTECT & CONDUCT is a central Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) team with strong coordination with BNP Paribas Group and CIB domains.

    The team is an integrated transversal Chief Conduct & Control Officer (CCCO) team to serve CCCOs and protect CIB on all Non-Financial Risks such as Operational, Regulatory and Conduct risks.

  • Support CCCO methodology consistency & Advise
