Our initiatives are focused on connecting stakeholders within these ecosystems, building tech companies from scratch and investing in the top entrepreneurs.

Seedstars organizes every year 100+ local pitching competitions on 5 different continents, 5 Regional Summits gathering 500+ attendees, and 1 Global Event in Switzerland gathering 65+ countries and has already launched two acceleration programs.

About the job

Your main responsibility will be to lead marketing efforts for the events happening across the globe in collaboration with the Program & Events Product Owners, and the rest of the Global Marketing team.

The position is a real connector between the Central Marketing team and the Program & Events team made of 20+ people travelling the world to organize Seedstars events! This job can be done from our office in Porto or remotely.

Your key responsibilities

  • Work together with the Product Owners on the strategy and planning of the marketing efforts
  • Along with the Global Content Marketing Manager, ensure the scaling and consistency of the content marketing strategy across the globe
  • Run weekly experiments to increase startup applications and the number of attendees at the events
  • Create content around the programs and events : blog posts, videos, podcasts, infographics, etc... on a weekly basis
  • Work with the PR Global Manager to increase the media coverage of every events and programs
  • Manage the designs material creations for the events
  • Monitor and coordinate the social media communication
  • Your profile

  • You have at least 2 years of experience in Event Marketing
  • You are a very data driven / analytical person
  • You have strong copy-writing abilities and know how to create appealing content to a specific audience
  • You have knowledge of basic tools (eg Google Analytics, Fb Ads, Video edition, Photoshop / Illustrator, etc)
  • You are passionate about startups and entrepreneurial ecosystems
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to details
