In all those markets we operate OLX - our horizontal marketplace where Real Estate is one of the important categories. In the heart of that in three of our markets (Poland, Romania, Portugal) we operate separate, Real Estate dedicated platforms (otodom.

pl; immovirtual.com; storia.ro).

We are now looking for a senior product leader to take on the role of Head of Product and lead product strategy, operations and execution for the Real Estate category in respective markets.

The focus of the role will in the first place be on our vertical platforms, and further on also on developing the Real Estate category on OLX and taking advantage of portfolio presence and building an ecosystem where vertical and horizontal platforms can cater well for the needs of our customers.

What you will be doing

  • Work with Product Managers, Engineering and Operations to build a state-of-the-art product strategy which ensures delivery with the necessary priorities and the most flexible and scalable systems.
  • Build, lead and coach a strong team of product managers, designers & product analysts and elevate them for the next level of proficiency.
  • You know how to measure the success of your product and continuously iterate to improve it for the benefit of our customers and our business
  • Partner with relevant stakeholders in the region and globally to set the long term product strategy for all aspects of the Real Estate experience.
  • Shape and deliver Real Estate product propositions for Europe from concept to phasing out of the product(s).
  • Analyze, identify and quantify opportunities for new markets, new product features and new products.

  • Listen to and work back from customers - where applicable building customer relationships, driving qualitative and quantitative research, product analysis and market insights.
  • Define success and establish metrics to measure effectiveness and driving improvements.
  • Lead planning process for the roadmap, deliver detailed roll-out / roll-back strategies incl. mitigation plans.
  • Develop go to market plans. Work in alignment with sales and marketing to implement them.
  • Provide product communication to a wide variety of audiences i.e. customers, senior management, internal groups and at industry events.
  • Main requirements

    Most importantly we are looking for someone who is very curious, with high customer focus, empathy and passion for building products which improve the lives of customers.

    Specifically, we are ideally looking for the following experience and skills.

  • Extensive experience in a Product Management role (or related position) in a high-traffic consumer internet or e-commerce company, on an international level.
  • Experience in managing a product management team and the ability to inspire it.
  • Demonstrated ability delivering technology products in a growth environment.
  • Ability to work, collaborate with and influence multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in data-driven product development and applying A / B testing, user research, user testing, data analysis, competitor and market analysis in your decision making.
  • Proven product sense and judgment when it comes to collaborating with product designers.
  • Comfortable with in-depth discussions of technical topics with the engineering leadership.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and professional working proficiency in English.
  • Having experience in Real Estate will, of course, be a great bonus too.
