We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated accounting specialist to support the Statutory and General ledger teams. This position is integral to building a world-class organisation to support our growing and complex global business.
This role requires a highly skilled and ambitious professional who can support various areas within the Finance team.
What you'll do
Participate in Statutory Accounts preparation
Participate in the interim and annual audits for the Company
Assists in the preparation of monthly financial reports and GL postings
Prepares various account reconciliations, schedules, exhibits and summaries to support the general ledger balances
Prepares supporting schedules and working papers for the annual Statutory Audit
Prepares reconciliations between US GAAP and Local GAAP
Provides support to all areas of the Accounting Department as needed Performs other analysis and special projects as assigned
Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience
2+ years of relevant experience
Mix of Statutory Accounts preparation and audit experience
Ability to manage multiple priorities to meet established time lines
Experience working with NetSuite
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently
Degree in Accounting
Demonstrated effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills at all levels of the organisation
Creative problem solving skills coupled with good judgment
Proficient in Microsoft suite of software (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and comfortable using
Very high attention to detail; organised and thorough with a desire for continuous improvement.
