Accounting Manager, Regional Consolidator ELMAC

What you will do

You, as our Accounting Manager, are responsible for timely and accurate consolidation, financial reporting and analytics at regional level for ELMAC (Europe, Latin America, Middle East, Africa and Canada).

This includes global accounting, month-end close and compliance of controllership activities for specific countries in the region.

You support the Accounting Director with a successful delivery of strategic, tactical and general accounting & controlling goals.

Other regional responsibilities will include :

Deliver accurate, complete and timely monthly and quarterly accounting close.

Perform analysis and follow up for variance reporting to Global Accounting head-office.

Coordinate accounting activities performed by our outsource Partners in India.

Operate as a link between local, regional and functional finance teams.

Support and advise local Finance leads with Tax compliance, internal and external audits as well as implementation of improvements.

Provide timely technical accounting guidance and controlling training to impacted stakeholders.

Lead Accounting projects and Process improvements.

What we expect of you

Our ideal candidate is a team player with customer focus. Is problem solving and result oriented, has time and process management skills and is strong in data analytics.

Proven experience and skills needed :

University Degree in accounting, finance, business economics or related field.

5+ years working in a finance / reporting related field for multi-national.

Fluency in English, both in written and oral communication.

Strong Excel knowledge.

Preferred Requirements :

Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent.

Working knowledge of ERP and planning / reporting systems (SAP, Hyperion, Tableau).

Solid presentation skills and ability to present effectively to Management.

Self-starter with high work ethics.

Strong interpersonal skills; ability to influence personnel across functions and at all levels.

Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry.
