FPGA Design Engineer (Internship)

As an intern, you will be involved in the execution of Synopsys’ IP Prototyping portfolio working in an international organization developing innovative products using the most advanced prototyping technologies and supporting customers around the world.

You will be designing and developing FPGA solutions for Synopsys’ IP Prototyping portfolio. In addition, you will work in synthesis, simulation and timing analysis activities as well as Synopsys FPGA-based prototyping platforms.

Key Qualifications

Master's or PhD Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar technical field

Coursework or experience with SystemVerilog, Verilog

Coursework or experience with Xilinx FPGA

Coursework or experience using FPGA design tools

Programming skills in languages such as Perl, Python, TCL

Experience working in UNIX / LINUX environment

Communication skills identifying and implementing solutions while coordinating with customers and partners

Highly motivated with the ability to make decisions and solve problems

Strong interpersonal, leadership, oral and written communication skills
