Position Details : RESPONSIBILITIES

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides overall leadership to entire program team, including overseeing other functional team leaders, for large, complex projects that deliver business solutions comprising of CSG and third-party products and services.
  • Communicates with internal / external clients to determine specific requirements and expectations; manage client expectations as an indicator of quality.
  • Creates and manages the estimates, project plan, project schedule, resource allocation and expenses to ensure targets are reached.
  • Works with Project Managers and Resource Managers for project staffing and resource releases.
  • Follows the project life cycle methodology defined under the process framework.
  • Maintains positive and ongoing relationships with client.
  • Takes on overall project supervisory responsibility and provides mentorship and coaching to an entire project team.
  • Ensures that customer deadlines are met within project budgets.
  • Plans and integrates the work of multiple teams on a project.
  • Provides input on team performance and reward.
  • Identifies issues and risks in a timely manner and develops / implements appropriate mitigation and contingency plans
  • Reports project status in a timely and accurate manner.
  • SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Expert level understanding and anticipation of the client’s needs, an in-depth understanding of the domain CSG operates and the value of CSG solutions.
  • Expert project management skills and a broad understanding of project methodologies, and broader understanding and perspective of specialized principles and the use of all systems and methods within large or multiple functions.
  • Expert level of analytical problem-solving skills to identify and diagnose problems beyond current boundaries and require highly complex methods or theories.
  • Highly developed team leadership skills with ability to lead large groups.
  • Sophisticated communication skills to direct, influence and gain cooperation with teams and customers.
  • Independent judgment in developing methods for obtaining results
  • Fluent in Portuguese.
  • EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering (Electrical, Software, Telecommunications) or Business (with major in Computing) or other plus equivalent experience
  • Minimum 10 years IT / Telecommunications industry experience
  • Minimum 5 years program management experience in managing large implementation / software development projects.
  • Experience in consulting environment with significant client contact.
  • Certified in Project Management (e.g. PMP), Service Management (e.g. ITIL) and relevant industry standards (e.g. TMF).
