We are looking for a talent manager to lead one of the English Product Description Writers in Portugal. We have a large multiskilled team who are KPI driven and have a creative flare for writing.
It will be the Descriptions Lead’s responsibility to keep the team motivated and ensure their writing follows the Farfetch Tone of Voice.
WHAT YOU'LL DO :
You will manage a large team of Product Description copywriters responsible for creating the content on the PDP, including the Products Brand name, Editorial story and Product highlights and attributes.
Follow up and help create individual Team Development Plans. Manage all team-related administrational tasks, including recruitment and performance management.
You will continually encourage and facilitate positive change within the team.
You will assist the Content Manager to define, align and monitor the team’s OKRs, quality metrics and SLAs, providing business stakeholders with regular reports.
You will work closely with the Senior Descriptions Lead who is based in the UK and manages the other half of the Product Description Team.
You will work together to establish how best to develop the team, create training plans and drive key strategic initiatives to support the Content Department, Content Manager and the wider business.
Present and chair monthly meetings focused on de-briefing team on any department or company changes and the team’s achievements and monthly targets.
Be able to empower and motivate the team as well as organise resources and time effectively to meet business objectives.
You will contribute to the operational success of the Product Information Team and wider Content Department.
Using your experience, you will continually review department processes and ways-of-working, suggesting improvements and be able to present findings to the Content Manager.
Cooperate actively with Creative Operations in order to improve Quality and develop the team’s, skills and capabilities.
WHO YOU ARE :
You have strong management skills and over 3 years of proven experience managing a team of content writers.
You are a confident decision maker and problem solver, who is result driven.
Someone who is well organised and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Ideally has a love of fashion and luxury fashion knowledge and experience or has worked for an e-commerce company.
You are highly organized with good analytical skills an eye for detail, you are adept at analysing data and communicating your findings with stakeholders.
You are a strong communicator who can articulate complex problems clearly.
You are fluent in English (spoken and written).
A confident computer literate individual with strong Microsoft Office and Google Sheet experience
