Operational Control Engineer

As a member of the Operations team, you will help drive operational efficiency across the Mixed-Signal organization of the Synopsys Solutions Group Business Unit.

You will work in a wide variety of roles to support teams in R&D, Product Engineering, Finance and Marketing while interacting actively with other teams like for example the Sales organization and Customer Support teams.

Your role will be focused on data preparation, tracking and reporting, process control, process monitoring and contributing to the improvement of revenue and cost analysis processes.

Main responsibilities :

  • Plan, perform and implement operational control improvements over engineering and product related processes.
  • Diagram and evaluate existing processes.
  • Organize and facilitate cross-functional project teams.
  • Develop metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.
  • Collect data to identify root cause of problems.
  • Measure performance against process requirements.
  • Align improvement to performance shortfalls.
  • Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.
  • Deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement, and control on request.
  • Survey and analyze best practices for techniques and processes. Update a team on a progress.
  • Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferably in Electronics
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, willingness to work remotely with many stakeholders across a global organization
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Exercises judgment to determine appropriate action
  • Builds productive internal / external working relationships
  • Ability to quickly understand company’s processes, procedures and suggest improvements
  • Ability to perform in-depth data analysis using specialized tools and techniques, including Excel, PowerPoint, Power Bi, SAP, Oracle and / or Salesforce
  • Familiar with Project Management basic concepts - experience in Project Management is a plus
  • Understanding of semiconductor design, particularly digital interfaces is a plus
  • Familiar with Sales / CRM processes
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Preferred Experience

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Business Operations with a focus on Sales Operations and operational processes, preferably in a Tech Company
  • Work experience in multicultural environment / international company is a plus
