Join E-commerce Logistics, one of the newest teams at Maersk, aimed at solving how brands handle e-commerce logistics from factory to sofa.

As the Platform Product Owner for Sales Channel Integrations, you will own the architecture and the integrations of a variety of sales channels such as Shopify, JingDong (TikTok), Woocommerce etc.

You will work in a team of product owners all with the shared mission of developing our global e-commerce logistics offering.

Maersk is organized in platforms and E-commerce Logistics is a newly started platform on the foundation of three acquisitions in 2021.

You will work with one or more distributed engineering teams across several time zones. The role is mid-level job level 4 of 9 in total and you’ll be expected to drive development of new features in line with the product strategy and balance paying off technical debt.

This role is inherently cross-functional, and you will work closely, not just with engineering, but also business development and the functional product owners at Maersk, who are instrumental in getting logistic products shipped.

You’ll be part of a larger platform team of up to 13 product owners and you’ll have the opportunity to learn from others and share your experience.

You’ll work according to the Maersk 3P (Product, Process and Platform) Development Framework, which outlines how business product owners, platform product owners (you), UX and engineering teams collaborate in an elaborate version of scrum and using some artifacts like a future press release as known from Amazon.

A successful candidate will be highly diligent, able to work effectively across business, engineering and UX and able to deliver value to customers in fast iterations informed by real world learnings.

Key responsibilities

Own and manage the sales channel integrations, part of the shared e-commerce logistics services

Work with one or more distributed engineering teams

Work closely with the business stakeholders to deliver the right product

Work with the technology stakeholders to define the technology approach

Manage the tech resource allocation to deliver business priorities

Make smart trade-offs between time, scope and resources

We are looking for

Ability to synthesize customer needs and insights and communicate the results with great clarity

Demonstrated ability to deliver iterative value with UX and engineering using scrum

Knowledgeable about how logistics power e-commerce

Desire to work in a new team, where there are more questions than answers

Ability to work across time zones and cultures in North America, Europe and Asia

This is a global role and you can be located in North America (Utah is preferred ) or Europe (Denmark, The Netherlands, Spain or Portugal is preferred).
