C++ Developer R&D Lisbon / WfH to EUR50,

C++ Developer / Backend Software Engineer (R&D C++ OpenCV) *Hybrid WfH*. Are you a skilled C++ C++ Developer with Research and Development experience?

You could be joining a scientific software company and working on "tech for good" software that enables research scientists to record and analyse their findings in the field;

an example of a current project is the effect of wind farms on migrating birds and other wildlife. The multi-threaded platform manages large volumes of data and is highly complex.

As a C++ Developer you'll be collaboratively problem solving and partnering with scientists and biologists within an R&D environment to develop core backend components that interact with the hardware as well as researching new product lines and evaluating new technologies that could be introduced to the stack.

You'll initially be involved in a project to integrate Computer Vision to enable better species identification.

Following a remote interview process you'll join colleagues in the Lisbon office with continued flexibility to work from home 2 days a week.

Requirements :

You have C++ development experience including multi-threading

You have experience with OpenCV / Computer Vision

You have experience within an R&D software development environment

You have a good understanding of SQL

You're degree educated in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering or similar

You have good English language skills, Portuguese language skills also nice to have (please send your application in English)
