What the job looks like :
Prepare and submit all reports connected with European Grunenthal entities VAT obligations (VAT Returns, Recapitulative Statements, others);
Ensure accuracy of ERP data : Perform controls in order to detect inaccuracies, liaise with accounts payable, accounts receivable and other teams in order to review individual transactions and make necessary corrections, if applicable;
Compliance of invoices : Analyze invoices to ensure compliance with local tax law (minimum requirements) and proper tax treatment request corrections if necessary;
Follow up, maintenance, review and reconciliation of tax accounts;
Preparation and filing of 8th directive VAT claims (foreign VAT);
Support on ad hoc research and projects from time to time, including expansion into new countries and VAT treatment of new operations;
What you'll bring to the table :
Degree in Finance / Accounting / Economics / Law or similar regarding tax or accounting
Professional Experience from 1-2 years in accounting environment / business area is a plus;
Fluent English;
Fluent Spanish is a plus;
Knowledge of SAP is a plus;
Big 4 Tax experience is a plus;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Communication and writing skills are required;
Team player;

Ability to work in a fast-changing environment with international locations.
