The Role

The main focus of this role is around successful delivery of change and (digital) transformation initiatives for the Republic of Ireland.

This role requires solid analytical and project management skills combined with an ability to connect and work effectively with various stakeholders across the business.

The projects are mostly focused around improvement of organisational effectiveness, customer experience, operational excellence and / or compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong productive relationships with the managers and staff within the Republic of Ireland. Business and across IT in order to facilitate effective business change based on a deep understanding of the business drivers of each party
  • Undertake business analysis and contribute to the production of business cases in order to define improvement opportunities
  • Lead smaller to medium sized initiatives and be responsible for selected work streams.
  • Ensure that appropriate benefit trackers and audits of improvements are in place to ensure consistent and optimum implementation and ROI demonstration of each project
  • Support the on-going development of the Business Analyst Practice at Hiscox, developing standards, procedures, and knowledge transfer
  • Execute other assigned tasks in a qualified and timely manner
  • Person Specification :

    Person Specification :

  • Graduate in business, economics or engineering or an MBA
  • Min. 2 years relevant working experience in (digital) business transformation. Relevant consulting experience in the financial services would be of interest.
  • Experience of working in the Insurance industry
  • Proficient in written and spoken English (C2)
  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Outlook
  • Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and multi-cultural environment
  • Proven ability to work with people at all levels within the business
