Senior Manager Global Content Marketing
What you will do
As a highly organized individual with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, initiative, and experience in content marketing and operations you will lead all aspects of the global to local implementation of Amgen’s content model, helping to drive usability and reusability across the world to drive efficiency, relevancy, and impact.
You will coordinate global projects and partners with sophisticated elements across an ecosystem of components and technologies.
You should be an organized and strategic problem solver, work well with others, and a master of leading with influence.
Lead the content creation strategy within the Global to Local (G2L) model : drive rollout and adoption, partner with markets, departments, and leadership
Drive global change management
Continuously measure KPIs and communicate to the organization
Collaborate with the Global Service Center (Digital production factory) to improve the content reuse process and scalability
Collaborate with Marketing Excellence to incorporate training and change management process
Coordinate the alignment of results within the global framework
Partner with omnichannel and country teams to ensure we have clear and strong processes that translate strategy to execution and a good understanding of country needs
Accountable for identifying efficiencies, managing issue escalations / mitigations, and solutions
Partner with content leads to define and optimize KPIs, engagement metrics, etc.
Ongoing communication and alignment of content goals, strategy, performance

Basic Qualifications and skills
Doctorate degree and 4 years of Marketing experience, or Master’s degree and 6 years of Marketing experience, or Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of Marketing experience.
8-10 years working across content marketing strategy & execution, with an understanding of digital platforms and systems
Deep knowledge of end-to-end content production processes including briefing, planning, tagging, design, content management systems, development, and reporting
Strong project management skills with the ability to work in a team environment in situations in which ambiguity and multiple priorities are likely
Excellent ability to write, speak and use images to clearly and persuasively communicate in technical and non-technical subjects across multiple audiences
Ability to influence without authority & communication skills through a collaborative approach as this individual will be expected to quickly establish rapport and credibility at all levels throughout the organization, including senior management
Proficiency in English, in written and oral communication.
Intellectual capital and curiosity with an 80 / 20 approach and agility to prioritize and change directions based on evolving business objectives
Experience working in a global and geographically distributed environment
Focus on partnership, relationship-building, and influencing others with exceptional ability to co-create and work collectively with various business leaders and cross-functional key stakeholders
Conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills with proven ability to navigate ambiguity, develop frameworks and distill sophisticated information into concise and impactful messages / presentations
