As part of this team you have the opportunity to work with Global customers at the forefront of DataOps, Big Data, and IoT.
What you’ll be doing
Solutioning : Determining business outcomes, data challenges and technical requirements, design of solution architectures, and assessing technical fit.
Custom Presentations : Create compelling customised presentations tailored to a customers use case
Product Expertise : Conduct technical Q&A sessions and demonstrate product features, installation, configuration, and best practices.
Teamwork : Collaboration with data experts, data scientists, consultants across Hitachi Vantara to deliver advanced custom demonstrations, workshops, and POCs.

What you bring to the team
Customer facing technical pre-sales experience, supporting enterprise software sales cycles.
Understanding of big data, data management, data governance, IoT technologies & microservices architectures.
Hands on experience of ETL, Big Data (e.g. Hadoop, Hive, NoSQL, Spark) Data catalog (e.g. metadata, data lineage) and Serverless (e.
g. Lambdas, containerized infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes).
You are able to build a brilliant virtual team around you to help you achieve success (these could be Sales Specialists, Technical Sales Consultants and functional management).

You are an excellent communicator with outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills.
Must Have Skills
5+ years of pre-sales experience supporting enterprise software sales cycles
Proven ability to sell a technical value proposition; perform / lead a technical sell
Proven ability to communicate technical capabilities and complex ideas
Proven experience in these core technologies : data management, ETL, databases, federated datadata analytics, data viz, business intelligencecloud platforms (AWS, GCP, AZURE, etc.)
Proven experience in at least 2 of these core technologies Data governance, data catalog, data lineage, privacy, privacy by design, data quality, data profilingBig data, data lakes, data architectureIoT, sensors, data messaging, streamingMicroservices architecture, containerized infrastructure, K8s, DockerData science, ML / AI, MLOps
Excellent communication skills including the ability to deliver compelling presentations
Customer-focused work habits and attention to detail
Open and proactive approach to interpersonal communication
Ability to quickly learn new Lumada products and technical environments
Ability to systematically assess and accurately diagnose software-related problems
Creativity and Imagination the ability to think out-side the box
Excellent time-management skills
Nice to Have Skills
Advanced big data implementation and Java Architecture experience
Hands-on Hadoop experience
Programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, R, Scala)
Security systems (e.g. LDAP, SSO)
Advanced analytics (e.g. Weka, SAS, ML, forecasting, anomaly detection )
Qualifications
BSc. or MSc. in a computer related field
