About this opportunity

We are now looking for Technical Sales support to proactively lead with a Techno-commercial approach the sales organization in Portugal with product, services and solution expertise.

Position Ericsson as a thought and technology leader. Secure that customer feedback is shared with R&D organization. Encompass end-to-end Sales Support accountability towards customers for our Networks and Managed Services deals.

The portfolio and services scope encompasses the following :

  • Networks
  • Products : Radio, Microwave, Small cells, Site Solutions, Transport
  • Services : Network Design, Network roll-out and Customer Support
  • Managed Services and Network Optimization services
  • What you will do

  • Position Ericsson as a thought and technology leader, grow our business and build strong customer relations towards CTO team
  • Influence Customers vision & strategy, drive Ericsson involvement in crafting customer visions, strategies & requirements.
  • Act as an authority supporting the sales team with your technical expertise for specific deals and provide sales support expertise, conduct in-depth technical discussions with customer
  • Be the point of contact between our Customers and the Business Units, Group Function and Ericsson Research.
  • Lead and provide the technical answer in customer offer and RFx
  • You will bring

  • Education : Bachelor of electrical engineering, Business Administration, Science or similar
  • Substantial experience working in the field with Customers from sales / solutions at Ericsson or equivalent.
  • Domain experience : Radio for mobile networks namely 3GPP 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, Transport, Services
  • Proficiency in Business Understanding and Critical Thinking.
  • Senior capability in leading and inspiring change in large, complex, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong cultural awareness and excellent interpersonal communications and networking skills.
  • Thought Leadership in identifying short- and long-term priorities to improve the business strategy.
  • Consultative Selling Skills, fluent across engagement models - Product engagement, Managed Services engagement, Services engagement
  • Financial Understanding
  • Presentation, communication, and influence skills
  • Global exposure / Mentality
  • Portuguese and English languages are mandatory
