iRobot Portugal is hiring a Sales Representative (12 month contract) who will be responsible for developing a portfolio of clients which include : Technology Superstores & Chains (TS & C), Buying Groups (BG), Trade Independent (TI), Mass Merchandisers (MM) and Do It Yourself (DIY).

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will join a dynamic sales team.

Territory of focus : Leiria, Santarém, Portalegre, Lisboa, Setubal, Évora, Beja and Faro

Based in the area (preferred place of residence) : Lisbon

Starting September 2020

Sales Representative responsibilities (non-exhaustive) :

  • Customer Portfolio Management : TS&C / BG / TI / MM / DIY
  • Increase iRobot’s presence at Point of Sale (POS)
  • Commercial negotiation
  • Provide sales training on products and technologies
  • Negotiation and summarization of the highlights
  • Participation in distributor fairs
  • Business intelligence
  • Gather and understand customer insights, feedback
  • Profile :

  • Experience as Sales Representative or Department Manager (MM, DMC) in the Home Appliance universe
  • Excellent relationship skills
  • Recognized for your persuasiveness and your involvement
  • The ideal candidate shows rigor, organization and autonomy
  • Your sales profile makes it easier for you to take initiative
  • Mobile, you agree to leave home (3 to 6 nights a month)
  • You are available to do some commercial animations Fridays evenings and / or Saturdays (Christmas and Mother's Day periods) at your biggest customers
  • Motivated and involved, you do not limit yourself to what you are asked (6 visits per day minimum)
  • You are curious, you share information with your Direction and your sales team colleagues
  • You have a strong interest for high tech products
  • Required good level of English - read, written and spoken, allowing at least to hold a conversation on general subjects
