Responsibilities
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be a member of the DevOps team collaborating regularly with R&D, IT, and other teams
Respond to service requests and incident reports, using a range of tools and DevOps techniques
Complete automated infrastructure projects and processes in a hybrid cloud / on-premise environment
Build and maintain cloud platform infrastructure on GCP
Create and maintain CI / CD pipelines used by R&D and DevOps teams
Practice automation best practices and emerging trends
Work closely with software developers and architects to understand their needs and deliver optimal solutions
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field - advanced degree or professional certifications a plus
Some experience with DevOps, CI / CD, and software infrastructure; or an equivalent combination of post bachelor’s education and experience
Ability to work both with a global team and individually
A strong appetite to learn and the ability to apply new skills
Strong communication skills
Strong working competency in English
Excellent written and verbal skills

Experience with public cloud platforms, especially GCP
Experience working with CI / CD tool
Experience working with DevOps tools like GitLab, Docker, Jenkins, Vagrant, Prometheus, Consul, Packer, Vault, Rancher, Helm, etc.
Direct experience coding in one or more common programming languages (JavaScript, Python, C#, etc.)
Experience operating monitoring tools for traditional and cloud environments (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus)
