Your mission

We’re looking for a talented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing team! In this role, you will be developing software to support Lovys multiple services.

You will be collaborating with system architects and a product team to define what are the best technological answers to our complex problems.

We look after someone who has the ability to think about smarter ways to improve our offering, with a hands-on approach. We value people with strong initiative and innovating points of view that are well framed within the global system.

As a QA engineer at Lovys, you'll be part of a team that creates and maintains test scenarios, test cases, automated tests, test procedures and frameworks across our assets that manage our insurance products across Europe.

You'll have the opportunity to impact our core digital insurance business, as well as emerging products data / fraud prevention, and others.

The ideal candidate is someone who has the ability to think out of the box to improve our offering, with a hands-on mentality.

What will you do?

Understand the business rules and create fantastic test scenarios and scripts to keep our product with a high-level quality standard.

Help developing a scalable and sustainable system throughout all our software assets.

Contribute to the update and mature our teams software development process

Your Responsabilities

Be responsible for instilling a Quality driven mindset into the Team

Ramp up a team with an ability to up-skill and technically mentor other QA members.

Communicating and work within a team, collaborating effectively with your colleagues

Be a self-organized player with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment and develop and analyze test scenarios, apply critical thinking, and apply troubleshooting skills.

Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

You are excited to learn from and teach others

Mentor, educate and support those around you, as well as other developers within the company.

Required

6+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer

Solid understanding of Agile development process

Understanding of various testing approaches and practices in order to design the overall testing methodology.

Excellent knowledge of testing tools and frameworks like Selenium, Postman, Restfull Protocol, Azure DevOps, CI / CD pipeline, BrowserStack, Test Management Tools, etc.

Ability to write outstanding test scripts and test cases

Strong hands-on experience in setting up and running automation tests on different platforms (Mobile / Back-end / Front-end)

Understanding of web technology concepts : HTTP, HTML, CSS, Web APIs, etc.

Knowledge in Performance Testing

Experience testing APIs using automation tools

Mandatory fluency in English

Nice to have

Experience in Katalon

Experience of Azure DevOps

Experience in mobile test automation tools like Appium, XCUITest, Espresso, etc
