Must have UE4 game development experience with at least one 1 shipped title as a VFX Artist.
Must be able to provide a portfolio of real-time VFX.
Must possess the ability to understand complex visual problems and break them down with a critical eye.
Must have exceptional technical skills and strong artistic talent for presentation, color, motion, and lighting.
Strong willingness to develop and maintain world-class vfx for real-time applications and games.

Reports to : Lead VFX Artist
Collaborate with the other VFX Artists to develop, optimize, and maintain VFX libraries used by our game development teams.
Create visually stunning VFX that are highly optimized for real-time, cinematic cutscenes.
Coordinate with Character and Environment Artists, Gameplay and Combat Designers, Animators, and Cinematics Directors to create world-class visual effects that enhance and support gameplay and presentation.
Contribute to the evaluation, adaptation, and training of workflows for creating and implementing real-time visual effects.
Be self-driven to execute at a high-level of professionalism and proficiency.
Contribute to the on-going efforts for optimizing and improving existing VFX assets and systems.
Bachelor's Degree or 5 years of experience in game development.
Minimum of 3 years as a VFX Artist in game development using UE4; with at least 1 shipped UE4 title.
Expert knowledge of Cascade, Niagra, and Sequencer.
Expertise in at least one DCC package. Maya or Houdini is preferred.
Deep knowledge of current best practices in VFX creation for games.
Expertise in optimizing and balancing performance of VFX for PC titles and console ports.
Solid understanding of the following, with mastery of at least 3 of the following :
Atmospheric and volumetric systems
Energy and particle systems
Viscous fluid and crystalline systems
Celestial bodies and geological systems
Chemical and biological systems
Natural and synthetic material systems
Nice to have :
Experience creating procedural VFX systems.
Proficiency with UE4 Blueprints, Python, C++, or C#
In-depth understanding of shading models in UE4.
