We are looking for an experienced tech presales leader professional with a proven track record in selling high value technical analytics solutions.
As Data engineer, Big Data solution architect, you are our technical expert that will help our Sales teams shaping the best service possible for our customers, ensuring afterwards a smooth transition to Delivery.
In this role, the following responsibilities are expected :
Support Sales in customer meetings (prospecting a lead, qualifying an opportunity, etc.), both in preparation and in execution;
Design the technical solution and response to specific customer needs leveraging the relevant expertise and knowledge existing in the organization;
Play a key role between Sales and Delivery in ensuring a smooth project execution and successful implementation
Develop thought leadership related to your area of expertise;
Partner with our Offer Leader and Portfolio Manager to shape / develop the offers of tomorrow aligned with market demand (business & technology) and corporate business plan;
Partner with Offer Leader to ensure market intelligence on a specific offer scope (trends, potential clients, competition, partnerships);
Partner with Practice Lead to co-build, co-develop and co-manage a community of practice to foster wide company x-fertilization;
Seek feedback and foster lessons learned (e.g. estimations vs execution) to improve our offers & practices .
We are looking for a driven, self-motivated and proactive individual with the following attributes :
BS, MS or PhD in science, mathematics or engineering;
5+ years of over quota achievement selling high technology solutions and / or technology services (identifying opportunities, opening accounts, closing deals);
Solid knowledge of data engineering, business intelligence, big data , and the competitive landscape within the industry;
Experience of selling complex technical solutions and consulting services into large organizations.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong, long term relationships and drive technology-intensive conversations with clients and colleagues at all levels;
Industry experience in, knowledge of, and contacts in 1-2 of the following target science and engineering sectors : Telco, Energy and Utilities, life sciences & Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing and Automotive;
Ability to put together winning proposals through direct sales and in response to tenders;
Oral and written proficiency in English.
