My client is a renowned CDMO with drug services and manufacturing capabilities spanning the globe. For over 60 years, they have garnered an exceptional reputation in manufacturing API’s in addition to providing technical drug services and product licensing.
The Business Development Manager will utilise their established network and exceptional business development acumen to identify and develop new business opportunities, selling the company’s drug services portfolio across the central and northern European regions.
With a strong academic and technical understanding of the market, they will be responsible for negotiating contracts from a legal standpoint as well as financially in line with the company’s expectations.
Scouting and identification of new commercial partners
Lead collaboration between internal and external stakeholders
Meet pre-set milestones in timely and budgetary requirements
Negotiate contracts in financial and legal contexts
Manage communications between all parties from first contact to contract completion
2-10 years’ experience in a commercial capacity in pharmaceuticals / life sciences
Educated to degree level in related field
English speaking and one other language required
Travel required (When safe to do so)
Located in Europe (remote working expected)
Excellent communication skills, verbally and written
Excellent presentation skills to senior stakeholders
