What you will be doing
You will develop the product vision, strategy,and roadmap for building the product suite of JumiaPay in concert with cross-functionalpeers.
You’ll become an authority on your productarea. You’ll identify customer needs and business opportunities through acombination of user research, collecting feedback from cross-functionalteammates, diving into data, competitive analysis, and existing fintech paymentplayers in the world.
Goal is to have the JumiaPay tomorrow!
You’ll work with Risk & Complianceauthority to understand the current use of existing products to define andprioritize the features that would allow build this new generation of product.
You’ll contribute to defining the make-or-buystrategy for JumiaPay, representing the IT side in the discussions withbusiness.
You’ll assess the impact and dependencies ofthese products on the existing products (notably but not only ecommerce).
You’ll own features and experiments end-to-end,including writing product specs, driving cross-functional execution, makingthoughtful product decisions along the way, and sharing insights and resultsthroughout the company.
Main KPIS for this function would be : JumiaPay Penetration DAU / MAU JumiaPay Consumers apps

Providing vision anddirection to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the projectand create requirements in the forms of Epics, Themes and Stories
Backlog management,iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
Guiding the team andorganization on how to use Agile / Scrum best practices and values
Lead the planningproduct release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities
Providing an active rolein mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion ofRelease / Sprint Goals
What we are looking for :
5-8 year(s) experience working as a ProductManager in a technology environment
Solid Experience in Management of ProductTeam
Solid Agile experience
Understanding of technology, language and applications
Proven ability to define a set of requirementsthat pinpoint business challenges and identify technical and business changesrequired to address them
Ability to communicate clearly and conciselyacross technology and the business teams
Experience supporting / rolling out initiatives tocommercial teams
Experience with demand generation,account / territory management, opportunity management and contact managementcapabilities, functionality and workflows
