What you will learn and contribute to

As the Head of Marketing Cloud and Cognitive Services (C&CS) you will work in the Cloud and Network Services Marketing team and be responsible for defining the marketing priorities and strategy for the C&CS Business Unit.

You will lead the creation and execution of a marketing plan and is an instrumental part of the CNS Marketing leadership team, reporting to the CMO.

Working closely with campaign management, campaign strategy, media and analyst relations and internal communications, the Head of Marketing Cloud and Cognitive Services leads a team of portfolio marketeers and provides guidance, and expertise in the best practices of B2B marketing and content creation.

The primary target audiences include customers / prospects and customer-facing groups such as sales teams and regional business center representatives.

In the planning process, the Head of Marketing defines the business priorities and ensures marketing is seen as a strategic discipline to help reach the business objectives.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Lead the portfolio marketing team and set objectives and guidance that fits with the business objectives
  • Develop go-to-market and strategy with meaningful and measurable objectives linked to business goals
  • Develop persuasive messaging with clear expression of strong and differentiated value propositions for all relevant target audiences
  • Developing strategic plans with clearly defined audiences and selection of an integrated marketing mix working closely with campaign management and strategy.
  • Work with central marcomm and campaign teams on execution of strategic program plans.
  • Providing creative direction including creative briefs to engage suppliers
  • Strong strategic and conceptual skills to create executive speeches and keynote presentations
  • Interfacing with a network of subject matter experts, marketers, comms specialists, executives, supporting teams and others to get input and commitment to plans
  • Interfacing with supporting teams to activate and manage execution of complex plans
  • Analysing campaign metrics and reporting on campaign results
  • Contributing to organizational learning on best practices and marketing effectiveness
  • Your skills and experience

    You have :

  • A University or advanced degree preferably in marketing, communications or business
  • 10-15 years experience in B2B marketing in a technology segment and the ability to advise and guide the business senior leadership teams in go to market strategies.
  • Proven ability to effectively lead teams and create and execute effective go-to-market and campaign plans
  • Current knowledge of B2B marketing communications best practices with a strong understanding of content marketing and business use.
  • Strong communication skills, including ability to craft messages for a variety of audiences and ability to synthesize information from a variety of sources
  • Proven ability to work effectively in virtual teams and in a matrix organization
  • A strong understanding of the global telecommunications segment will be a major advantage
  • Experience in a global or multi-regional role and demonstrable cultural awareness and respect for diversity (essential for success both within the company and in communicating effectively to our global audiences)
