We are currently looking for enthusiastic and motivated candidates to join the Sitel team.
As an IT Onsite Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all IT compliance at the site, including the full responsibility for the operational maintenance of systems and services across the local Site IT environment, providing day to day operational and technical support.
Our expectations about you.
Our ideal candidate should ensure the effective management of 3rd party technology providers and their compliance with Sitel and Client security policies when working on Sitel systems.
Take personal responsibility to understand and comply with all company and client corporate and security requirements and policies, reporting directly to the Country It Manager,
Effectively manage the Ticket Queue for the respective site,
Receiving escalations from the Service Desk and IT, providing remote 2nd / 3rd line technical support and assistance for all Sitel technologies located at the site, as well as client systems if approved and granted,
Ensure formal procedures are followed, SLA’s met and high levels of internal / external customer service met with timely and appropriate communication,
Identify incident trends and methods of improvement and ensure availability, performance, and integrity of technology, producing appropriate support.
What you need to have.
Very strong verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and English language, including clients & technical terms,
Experience of working in a highly standardized process environment across diverse geographies & languages and of the role of ITIL within IT an absolute must,
Excellent organizational skills,
Proven IT skills and Laptop and PC general support experience, Windows (XP, 7 and 8 operating system) Active Directory (administration),
Managing Anti-Virus clients and Microsoft patches (WSUS) (Preferred),
Dell / HP Server hardware (Advantageous),
Building & imaging Hardware (Preferred),
DNS, DHCP management (Advantageous),
Working knowledge of WDS / Microsoft SCCM (Advantageous),
Internet Proxy (white and blacklisting) knowledge (Advantageous),
Cisco and Avaya support experience (Advantageous).
Degree or bachelor's degree finalist,
MS qualifications such as MCSE are advantageous as are any ITIL qualifications. Any other vocational training and qualifications in the Information Technology field will be considered advantageous.
At least 2 years’ experience as a call center technical advisor and / or 1 years’ experience as a similar desktop support engineer (2nd level support) supporting a WINTEL environment.
