About the Position : As an HR Operations Manager , you will be responsible for aligning Operational objectives with employees and COO.
The position requires partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to employees and COO that reflects the business objectives of the operations and organization in general.
Our ideal candidate should have solid experience with modern HR practices, talent acquisition, hr administration and employee management.
This position is based in Lisbon, Portugal and reports to the COO and HR Director and will be part of the Global HR team.
Skills / knowledge required for the position
Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR BR, HR Generalist role
Experience in Recruitment will be considered as a plus ( Customer Support, Admin, IT roles)
Experience with Relocation of employees across the EU and other countries is a big advantage
Native level verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese
Fluent French is a strong plus
Fluent English is a must
Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational design, employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and other HR areas.
Working experience in HRIS (BambooHR or others).
HR related Bachelor's / Master?s degree and professional certification is preferred.
Main job responsibilities
HR Consultancy :
Providing HR guidance to COO in all employee related questions
Analyze current HR trends and metrics and propose solutions, programs and policies
Provide guidance on resolution of complex employee relations issues and employee behavior
Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation
Provide consultancy to employees and answer questions regarding company policies, procedures, issues or concerns.
Manage candidates selection process to attract and recruit ?best? talents
Provide guidance to Hiring Managers for effective interviewing
Provide full support and manage new employees onboarding program
Champion Employee Referral program to ensure proactive talent pipeline
Prepare Job Descriptions for the new position and ensure proper recruitment process
Operational HR Management :
Develop and implement new policies and procedures.
Prepare contracts, amendments and other related employment documentation for new hires, existing employees and for offboarding
Administrate the Performance Evaluation Program.
Ensure HR life cycle management ( including performance management; employee engagement; benefits enrollment; etc.)
Admin and Maintain HRIS (BambooHR).
Prepare and provide to Finance (or external SP) monthly payroll data
Ensure that the company is in compliance with the all relevant local employment laws and regulations
Maintain accurate record of all employees employment files
Analyse, interpret and apply the appropriate sections of relevant Labor laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
Office Administration :
Coordinate the work of HR admin / Office Manager to ensure that Office and employees has everything necessary for comfortable working environment
Monitor and ensure Office is in compliance with all current COVID- regulations
Manage Employees Travel when required
