Volkswagen Digital Solutions plays a major role in the Volkswagen Group strategy of going digital, by developing and supporting software mainly for the digital ecosystems and internal corporate processes.
The team you will be joining is focused on the support of mobile online service applications that allow the VW Group customers to interact remotely with their vehicles, using both mobile applications and web portals.
What you will do
Provide a global support according to business expectations based on SLA, focused on Incidents, Problem, Change and Request Management processes using the ITIL framework;
Work within a focused and analytical team in order to identify and solve technical issues related to online services that allow VW Group customers to communicate remotely with their vehicles;
Work with the VW Group state of the art technology supporting the new electric vehicles online services;
Interact with a broad range of setups that will allow you experience working both with legacy systems and new cloud based solutions;
Verify if the applications are working correctly, namely if the communication between the applications and the servers is working properly and if not try to find a solution or solve the incident;
If needed, escalate the problem to the application vendor and verify the status of the incident in order to solve it in the shortest possible time;
Collaborating directly with the team in Germany with the aim of managing customer’s expectations and meet client’s expectations
Bachelor's degree or above degree in Computer Science or related field;
At least two years of work experience;
Knowledge and experience in Linux systems, Tomcat Server Management, SQL, ITIL;
IT basic knowledge (network, databases, application servers and how they fit together);
Ability to debug application issues;
Customer focused and advanced problem-solving skills;
Strong analytical skills;
Good communication skills and teamwork;
Very good English skills, both written and spoken.
Nice to have
Certification or previous experience in AWS services / Cloud Foundry.
