Our Faurecia Automotive Seating Business Group Frames Division is looking for a VIE Program Cost Analyst m / f for its site in Sao Joao Da Madeira Portugal.

The Program Cost Analyst role is to provide a consolidated cost (upfront, piece cost, tooling & investment) all along the different phases of a program, in line with actual product definition, and potential modifications.

He belongs to the program core team.

The main missions of the role are to :

  • Ensure program costing procedures implementation and Golden Rules compliance Estimate cost on a defined product basis (BOM (bill of material) or master principles), using the PG (Product Group) cost calculation system and databaseSecure utilization of official rates (for materials, plants, machines ) & standards (cycle process, SCRAP )
  • Provide cost information status and follow up (monitoring, explanation) Analyze & challenge cost information providedGather and consolidate (part price / investments / tooling) cost data according to defined product and likely industrial pathEnsure cost evolution detailed follow up & traceability for piece costsSupport the program controller into the Business Plan updates explanations or Risks & Opportunities estimatesSupport cost requests to internal / external (purchasing) suppliers
  • The length of the VIE is 12 months.

    The V.I.E., an international young graduate program, enables young professionals who are less than 28 and European Union nationals to work for a French company in any country of the world.

    Becoming part of this program means going abroad to carry out a professional assignment for up to 24 months whilst benefiting from social care coverage and an interesting salary which depends on the host country.

    Business France, the French agency for international business development, is in charge of all the administrative procedures of your assignment.

    The ideal candidate will have / be :

  • Master's degree in Finance
  • First experience in an industrial environment
  • Technical knowledge in one or several products and manufacturing processes
  • Ability to provide qualitative and reliable information, and to work on a project management basis
  • Ability to manage uncertainty and take hypothesis
  • Good communication skills and autonomy
  • Fluent in English
  • Nice to have : Spanish or Portuguese
  • Advanced Excel skills
