JOB PURPOSE :
As an Ariba Solution Specialist, you are responsible for providing application & process support to expected quality and speed driving improvements within the support organization, i.
e. SAP S / 4Hana and SAP FICO.
Additionally, you will be the IT Single Point of Contact for issues with a Procurement data warehouse - built with the latest cloud technologies -which is receiving data from different procurement systems (Ariba, ERPs, etc)
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Application Support & Operations
Execute maintenance and support activities to ensure system availability and performance in line with user expectation, agreed service levels, quality standards and service delivery processes;
Manage support at level 1 and 2 are properly handled and you get involved in escalation mode at level 2.5., when the solution needs to be modified to ensure continuity;
Acting as SPOC, managing and following-up resolution of incidents related with our 3-layer Procurement data warehouse, interacting with teams : IT Integration, IT Business Intelligence, Procurement teams
Lead continuous improvement application & problem management initiatives ensuring they are in sync with the business needs;
Keep documentation up to date.
Enhancements
Contributes to solution’s delivery road map by participate in Building Activities as part of the project team (L3);
Ensure solution evolves, including enhancements requests management and prioritization together with the business;
Participate in the set-up and execution of end-to-end User acceptance testing with business representatives;
Perform testing on relevant integrations during releases;
Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) as required;
Provide expert advice related to changes to the Enterprise Architecture team;
Participate in projects.
REQUIREMENTS :
Desired Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Finance or equivalent experience;
At least 3 years working experience in large and complex organizations;
Between 3 to 5 years proven experience in a similar role;
Between 1 to 3 years of working experience in SAP Ariba;
Excellent understanding of accounting processes;
Willing to accept a hands-on role;
Proactive, self-starter, needs to be able to work without close supervision;
SAP S / 4Hana, SAP R3, SAP FICO, Procurement applications experience will be a plus;
Fluent in English.
