IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
In your role as a BI Analyst, you will join the Data Insights team, which is responsible for measuring and improving the worldwide Mercedes-Benz websites and e-commerce solutions.
This includes a variety of different digital products and services, as well as the E-commerce environment. Or to reframe it : Everything that Mercedes-Benz is offering for his existing and future customers.
You will also :
become a member of our cross-functional product and data team and collaborate with Data Insights to connect digital data closer to other data sources
understand business goals and consult decision-makers based on data
create hypothesis on how to increase business KPIs and derive data collection requirements
assist future data peers in data modelling
analyse, validate and visualize data to reveal value-adding insights
be in close alignment with your future data peers to jointly optimize analytics
make data more transparent & understandable so products can adapt quickly to customer needs and requirements
create powerful reporting and data visualizations to be shared with stakeholders
TO SUCCEED YOU NEED
Successfully completed studies, ideally with a focus on Business studies, Math or Statistics, or Computer Science
At least 2 years of experience in similar roles, BI Analyst / Developer
Competency in data analysis (statistics), data validation and data visualization
Deep knowledge of BI and data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau
Profound skills and experience in database querying languages, such as SQL and DAX
Experience with technologies such as Spark, Python or R
Ability to consult various stakeholder groups independently and confidently
THERE WILL BE BIG SMILES IF YOU
Have know-how in the area of customer journey optimisation, funnel- / conversion optimisation, E-Commerce and A / B testing
Have had previous experience with Databricks and querying Big Data
Have a hypothesis- and data-driven attitude
Have experience with Digital Analytics or Digital Marketing
